The Indian Silk Export Promotion Council

ISEPC stands for Indian Silk Export Promotion Council was set up to encourage the silk merchants to venture into the export industry. Sponsored by Government of India, ISEPC was set up in 1983 by the Ministry of Textiles as a not-for-profit organization. It contributes to the regulations and policies made for the silk industry. ISEPC also has several schemes which help the silk merchants to grow in the international market. Presently, the council has membership of 853 regular exporters of Silk goods.
